Published for the first time in 1950, this was the first cookbook of Puerto Rican food to be published since 1859. It is a compilation of recipes collected and archived by the authors that previously had only been verbally passed through the generations. Lots of recipes and ideas for local fruits and vegetables, plus a chapter of recipes adapted for large groups.
